Protection at Northwestern University – Evanston, IL

Northwestern University has embarked on its East Lakefill Emergency Stabilization Project. This project was created to end erosion and preserve the shoreline. The university has added some short-term solutions as they seek options for a more permanent solution. Thus far, Northwestern has installed rock revetment materials with a layer of TrapBag Barriers behind the rocks to fortify it’s lakefill and remaining shoreline.
