Erosion Mitigation During Sea Turtle Season – Volusia County, Florida

The 2022 hurricanes Ian and Nicole devastated Volusia county. As a result, beaches and coastal infrastructure in this area are vulnerable to erosion and flooding. To preserve the beaches and buildings, Volusia County installed over 6,400 sqft of TrapBag Barriers.

The county choose TrapBag as their solution being that the barriers are deemed safe for use around sea turtles.
