Role & Story
Nick Fasano has been Business Development Director at TrapBag® since 2018. He manages all aspects of the business — from sales, marketing, and design to accounting, inventory, R&D, and international expansion. With a degree in marketing and years of leadership experience, Nick builds strategies that fuel TrapBag’s growth while making sure every customer receives the highest level of support.
Expertise
Nick excels at running day-to-day operations, guiding TrapBag’s marketing, and leading a team that consistently goes above and beyond for clients. His ability to balance strategy with hands-on involvement makes him a driving force in TrapBag’s continued success.
Proudest Accomplishment
Nick takes pride in every TrapBag® project, but Florida installations stand out most. After Hurricanes Ian and Nicole, TrapBag® barriers in Volusia County held strong — catching the attention of the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM). That success led to more than 80,000 linear feet of TrapBags® being installed after the storms.
What Makes TrapBag® Stand Out
TrapBag® is not a one-size-fits-all product. Nick emphasizes that the team works closely with each customer to confirm TrapBag® is the right fit — and if it isn’t, they won’t sell it. That commitment to customer success sets TrapBag apart from companies that simply push products.
Most Memorable Project
Nick’s first project in 2018 at Casey Key, FL (Sarasota County) remains unforgettable. The TrapBag® system was deployed as a temporary measure to protect the island’s only access road and water main — vital infrastructure for residents. Originally meant to be temporary, the barriers have now been in place nearly eight years, demonstrating the system’s durability and impact.
