Project Summary
In 2016, the largest gold mine in Argentina, Veladero Mine, suspended operations due to a cyanide spill. In order to contain the spill before it leeched into local waterways, Veladero chose to install TrapBag Barriers.
Using 2ft, 4ft, and 6ft TrapBags, the Veladero Mine was able to contain the chemical spill and keep the local population safe.
